In the Journal Educational Psychology Research, They found that those students who had Smart Phones or laptops present during a lesson was being taught scored five percent comparison to those students who did not use Smart Phones or laptops during the study in the classroom.

In Researchers separated, A total of 118 collage students,attending one of two sections of same college cognitive psychology course taught by the same instructor of the collage in an identical manner and scheduled during successive class periods in the same lecture hall, Both group was taught by the same professor, the same material are used in study. and one of the group was allowed to used cellphones and laptops open for non-academic purposes, while the other group was not allowed to used cellphones and laptops open for non-academic purposes. While the students allowed electronics didn’t score well comprehension tests during lectures, they scored lower on exams at the end of the term.

The study also found a amazing fact  that those students in the device permitting classroom who were not using cellphones and laptops also scored lower. The researchers attributed this to distraction from the devices around them.
